Roanoke Masterworks was founded on the belief

John enjoys working with individuals and helping
them make their home or workplace a vital and
refreshing haven. He relishes invention and creative
problem-solving, and has the skill and experience to
offer engaging color and texture options for every
situation and setting.
A Unique Skill Set
John has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Radford
University. He has worked 25 years as an award-winning
professional artist, with pieces in collections throughout
the country. He worked as an art museum professional
for 15 years, as an exhibit designer, and director of
education. He has two decades of experiences as a
residential painter and has been sole proprietor of
Roanoke Painting since 2000. With a personal attitude
that views "problems" as exciting challenges and a
tendency to find joy, John is equipped with a unique skill
set to renew your home or office.

John insists on using premium products in his custom
finishes. Faux Effects are state of the art, proprietary
products unmatched in quality, and used by the most
respected decorative artisans in the world. They are water-based, and "green," or have very low VOC. Faux Effects
bring the latest technologies to their formulation, allowing
a slight "microscopic flexibilty" while retaining toughness.
Many of them actually increase the structural strength of
the wall surfaces to which they are applied! They are lush, require virtually no maintenance, and provide great longterm durability. Stated simply: They are worth it. The quality

room, or with a nuances of wood grain on particular
